Roronoa.nu was bought by me on the 10th of Januari back in 2007. It went online on Januari 11th in America and on Januari 12th in Europe. Which makes my baby 2 years old now!
The oh-so famous Roronoa Zoro, from the manga/anime One Piece, has been the object of my affection for many, many years now. He is my favorite fictional character ever and two years ago I finally decided it was time to show my love for this funny, stubborn, sexy and loyal Bushido by buying a domain in honor of him. And so I did.
Roronoa.nu is also called The Naked Bushido Netwerk, and you might be wondering why. Bushido is obvious, as Roronoa Zoro is in fact a bushido. I made him Naked because I love Zoro Naked NU is the french word for Naked (or so I've been told). Going back to my Dutch roots, I named the network netwerk, as it is the Dutch word for network. It's that simple!
The current version of Roronoa.nu is version 5.0, feauturing some gorgeous art by Yoshitaka Amano. It was made in Paint Shop Pro, coded in Notepad and upload with CuteFTP. I can't remember which fonts I used, but the brushes are from Mandi and AntiBrush.
